How to get to the King's Arms

By rail:

Wareham is served by the SWT main line service from Weymouth to London Waterloo. There are roughly two trains per hour in each direction and taxis wait at the station. From the station, turn right at the Monsoon Indian Restaurant and follow the footpath under the bypass and on to the north bridge. Continue up a slight incline into North Street and the King's Arms is on your right after about 250 metres.

How to find the King's Arms, Wareham

By Bus:

Much of the Purbeck area is served by the No.40 'Breezer' bus service, which when coming from the Swanage/Corfe Castle/Stoborough direction stops in North Steet about 200 metres south of the pub before continuing to Poole where it terminates. The reciprocal journey is even more convenient as it stops literally opposite the pub !

On Foot:

Please consult the diagramme. Wareham is based on a roughly N-S, E-W grid of streets and lanes, so if you can find the traffic lights in the middle of town, you need only walk up North Street and the pub is on your left.

By car:

Please see the diagrammes for your route. The King's Arms has a carpark for around 20 cars. It is approached from Mill Lane, itself off North Walls to the north and Cow Lane to the south. Postcode for the pub is BH20 4AD if you use satnav.
